About Me
English and Japanese Language Professional
I received a bachelor degree in English linguistics and regional cultures from Kanda University of International Studies in 1997. I have been working as a translator for more than 19 years. After working as an in-house translator for a leading electrical appliance manufacturer, a software localizing company, French game company, I started to work as a freelance translator. Now I translate various kinds of fields including IT, Internet and digital products, game localizations, e-learning, travel websites for many leading global companies. On the other hand, I provide online Japanese lessons for people who learn Japanese as a foreign language, and online translation lessons who want to know the technique of how to translate English and Japanese at a professional level. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language course in The Institute of International Education in London (IIEL) during my living in London.
